亚洲营养学会联合会（FANS）于2023年9月14日在中国成都举行全体成员大会（General Assembly）及执行委员会(Executive Council Meeting)会议。来自中国、菲律宾、印度、印度尼西亚、韩国、日本、马来西亚、蒙古、斯里兰卡、泰国、新加坡、巴基斯坦、越南等13个国家营养学会成员参加了会议。

2022年12月6日至11日，第24届国际营养科学大会（ICN）在日本东京召开。2022年12月7日，国际营养科学联合会（IUNS）公布2022年新当选的院士名单，中国营养学会常务理事李铎教授与来自世界各国的其余17名专家一起被选举为国际营养科学联合会院士（Fellow of IUNS）。

教育部科技发展中心2007年4月26日报道，来自Alberta大学的营养学家首次在胰岛素浓度以及小肠脂类代谢紊乱之间找到了联系。而且他们相信，肠道代谢功能的损伤在心血管疾病的发展中起到了关键作用。研究结果发表在了最新的《动脉粥样硬化协会会刊》（Atherosclerosis）上。科学家发现，过量的胰岛素似乎会使得血液中的乳糜微滴去除变慢，而乳糜微滴是将食物中的脂肪从小肠运输到身体各处的方式。
