经过中、美、日、德、英、法、俄、意、韩、澳等会员国的投票，日前国际标准化组织（ISO）正式通知重庆大学潘复生教授担任ISO国际标准化组织镁及镁合金技术委员会主席，任期6年。这是国际组织对中国镁及镁合金行业地位的高度认可，也是对重庆大学在镁及镁合金领域学术水平和研发工作的高度肯定。

2016年2月1日，由中纺标(北京)检验认证中心有限公司牵头制定的2项国际标准ISO 17881-1:2016《纺织品某些阻燃剂的测定第1部分：溴系阻燃剂》和ISO 17881-2:2016《纺织品某些阻燃剂的测定第2部分：磷系阻燃剂》正式发布。
ISO/TC 268城市可持续发展技术委员会工作组会议于2016年1月11日至15日在奥地利维也纳召开。国家标准委组团参加了本次全会和相关会议。中国标准化研究院作为ISO/TC 268的国内第一技术对口单位，组织中科院生态环境中心、中国城市科学研究会、御道咨询、北京未来科技城的专家参加此次会议，中国标准化研究院杨锋副研究员、刘春青研究馆员、曾毅副研究员参加了此次会议。
