近日，四川大学蒋文涛教授受邀在《医用生物力学》期刊发表综述文章《COVID-19疫情中的生物力学问题》，针对新冠病毒活性、气溶胶传播、呼吸性疾病对心血管疾病影响关系、公共交通和公共场所的通风方式改进、医疗器械的优化设计5个方面，用生物力学的原理、观点和方法，简要综述研究现状，剖析COVID-19研究中存在的生物力学问题，以此说明和展示生物力学学科在突发疫情防控方面能够发挥的作用和方向。
