环境空气污染是当今世界最主要的公共卫生挑战之一。据联合国环境监测报告最新数据显示，全球60多亿人长期吸入严重污染的空气，导致公众的健康面临威胁。近年来，环境空气污染所致的生殖健康问题也开始引发了人们越来越多的关注，出生前和幼儿期的健康状况与个体的长期健康问题有紧密联系。国际上已有越来越多的研究表明环境空气污染与不良出生结局有关。然而，环境空气污染对胎儿生长迟缓的影响尚不明确。
