2017年10月18日，内镜中心成功完成了安徽医科大学第二附属医院首例SpyGlass胆道探查术。患者为一名老年女性，因眼黄、尿黄入住该科，MRCP及CT提示胆总管中段狭窄伴肝内外胆管扩张。在充分和患者及家属沟通后，在无痛ERCP下为患者实施SpyGlass探查术，明确了胆道狭窄为胆管恶性肿瘤所致。
