2019年5月9日，国际知名学术刊物《当代生物学》（IF=9.251）在线刊发了中国地质大学生物地质与环境地质国家重点实验室赖旭龙教授团队，与德国波兹坦大学、云南省文物考古研究所等研究人员合作，成功测定了首例古代大熊猫全基因组的相关研究成果。
