刘君炎 男，免疫学教授，博士导师，1940年10月生。1964年毕业于湖北医学院医疗系本科。曾先后在湖北医学院病毒研究室、微生物免疫学教研室、武汉大学医学院免疫学系任教。1992年晋升为教授。曾先后担任微生物免疫学教研室副主任、主任、免疫学系筹建组长、现任中国免疫学会理事、中华医学会微免学会常务理事。1989年获全国优秀教师、1994年获省“有突出贡献的中青年专家”、1997年享受政府特殊津贴。
